AL&ALICIA Porcelain and Chinadolls Fall 2011

For Fall 2011, the self-proclaimed "schizophrenic duo" behind AL&ALICIA introduces the Porcelain and Chinadolls collection, which is a testament to their signature, subtly androgynous style of juxtaposing a delicate, feminine aesthetic with masculine and structured tailoring. Inspired by movement and dance, this collection is a dichotomy of sensuality versus grunge.

AL&ALICIA Private Party

AL&ALICIA has blown up tremendously since we last blogged about them here. Their latest collection, entitled Private Party continues their tradition of impossibly comfortable clothing paired with a razor sharp style. With their ability to juxtapose flirty and feminine with subtle masculine details, Al&Alicia deliver their signature 'boyish chic' cuts and have once again created a sense of exclusivity with garments that are perfect for the back room at that "invite only" party and for hitting the streets thereafter.

AL&ALICIA

Quality, comfort, and exclusivity. Three things we should alllllwayyyyys look for when choosing clothing. AL&ALICIA is all three and MORE! From Singapore, I fell in looooove with this new label that can be best described as high-end street wear (HELLLLOOOOOOO, if you know me this is the only type of clothing that I actually wear!!!) Not to mention that the designers pulled their inspirations from the edgy streets of NYC and converted men's styles into women's wear (think: boyish, oversized tees blended with classic silhouettes). How...ME!? When WASN'T the last time you saw me in girly leggings paired with one of my boyfriend's XL tee shirts and/or sweatshirts? Hence, my immediate obsession with this line! The collection, which is the label's first and is perfectly entitled 'Street (n), path upon which travel occurs,' is only offered and can only be obtained through exhibitions, private viewings at the design studio (most likely not happening for you as they're in Singapore!), and via AL&ALICIA's online retail store (Hey, I told you this was an exclusive line!). Each product is produced in very limited quantities, so act now if you want to be one of the first (and one of the only) to be wearing AL&ALICIA in the United States!!

Also, my obsession with AL&ALICIA was more than confirmed when they sent me some of the most comfortable clothing I have ever put on my body. It truly is a ready-to-wear line with amazing tailoring, high quality fabrications, and unique detailing! LOVE. LOVE. LOVE IT. MUST. GET. MORE. Check out how we styled their clothing in the photo shoot below!
