Sarah Shirley's Everyday Icon

I have been lucky enough to work with the established NYC-based Fashion Stylist, Sarah Shirley, on numerous occasions. As a go-to source for fashion commentary (she is a fixture on a number of morning shows such as "The Today Show"(NBC), "The Early Show"(CBS), and "Good Day New York" (FOX), plus is often quoted in magazines, including In Style and In Touch), she talks and advises on all things fashion and has even been dubbed an "Official Style Expert". Her styling credits are well beyond versatile, as she has styled editorials for publications ranging from The Wall Street Journal to Harper's Bazaar. Not to mention her experience as a personal shopper to a very exclusive client base. Needless to say, I was more than honored when she chose me as her quarterly newsletter's "Everyday Icon!"

What I'm wearing: Top by Emma&Sam, Shorts by Wilfred, Zoe boots by Sam Edelman, Socks purchased at LF Store, Necklace and Rings by Anuja Tolia
As seen on Day Eight of NY Fashion Week, here.

Trendsetting With LadyLux

LadyLux is your one-stop online magazine for everything you need in life. With news in beauty, travel, fashion, and lifestyle, LadyLux has all of the priorities covered...and then some! Founder Elizabeth Wahler saw more to life than those luxurious, tangible things that we enjoy so much, but she recognized the impact that one could make on the world. For this reason, LadyLux is also responsible for both holding and covering major charity events as well as issues outside of the"modern luxury" realm. Overall, LadyLux has truly set the standard for luxury publishing. Not only does this site clear through the clutter and bring you the best knowledge and news about everything from products to events, but it inspires you and encourages you to get out there and take part as well! The true LadyLux girl "believes in herself, avoids licking the lollipop of mediocrity, and always acts with love" (via LadyLux).

And I definitely was not kidding about getting out there and taking part...In fact, as a subscriber and avid reader of the site, I was estatic when LadyLux approached me to ask if I wouldn't mind contributing as a guest blogger! I mean...WOULD I MIND?! Of course not! With a recent invasion of Grecian-inspired fashions, ranging from those on the runway this past week at Berlin's 2010 Fashion Week to the new YSL Belle d'Opium Perfume that is set to hit stores this fall, LadyLux looked to Belles&Rebelles to take on the style and bring it to the streets. Check out the featured article here as well as the pictures below to see our interpretation of Greek Lux!

What I wore: Dress by Alice + Olivia, Shoes by Givenchy, Ring by YSL, Headband by Deepa Gurnani

To achieve my look, head to Shopbop for these Grecian-inspired pieces:

L'Inde Le Palais & L'Inde Store Feature Interview

As L'Inde Le Palais is located in the center of Bologna, Italy, I was wayyyyyy surprised to receive an e-mail requesting an interview with them. The concept store is crazy famous in Italy as the spot for exclusive designer pieces as well as fashion-related items that you can't find anywhere else (can't tell you just what, you're going to have to check them out to find out for yourself!). And just check out their space in the pictures below! I am absolutely dyyyying to get there. So unique and innovative, the shop totally looks like an art-meets-fashion museum of some sort! I have yet to stumble upon a place like this in NYC!

Jato Group is the genius behind L'Inde Le Palais. With its roots as a textile engineering company, Jato reached the top of the fashion world through the creation of luxury embroidering, precious facing, and accessories for hot couture brands. The group currently produces the entire, yes entire, collections for both Givenchy (like the dress from my recent post, here) and Lanvin. Headed by the world renowned Georgia Rapezzi, whom 15 other designers also currently refer to, the company has flourished and even boasts its own, CRAAAAZY SICK line, AMEN.

So basically, it is safe to say that I was completely honored to be chosen as their first overseas blogger to be featured on their recently launched website! The site, named L'Inde Store-which you can access here, serves as the concept store's e-commerce channel..In other words, the most perfect place for ONLINE SHOPPING!!!! I mean come on, Italian fashion mixed with a great sense of style and taste for the arts? This is definitely my kind of shopping! And be sure to check out their feature on Belles & Rebelles, plus my interview, here!

Big "Thank you!" to Anna over at L'Inde Le Palais for such a fun and creative interview. Thanks for making this all happen!
Plus look below to see a piece from my feature and some of my very favorite Fall 2010 fashion picks, all of which you can find at the L'Inde Store Website!
