Humble Genes

Devesh Samtani was a talented, young, smart and promising designer that was set to enter his freshman year at NYU when his life was tragically cut short just two weeks prior to the start of his first semester. From Hong Kong, Samtani was already working on establishing himself as a fashion designer with a cool brand comprising of hats and hoodies called Humble Genes. While remembered as humble, Devesh was also known as someone who was full of life and to keep his legacy, his friends and family decided to proceed with the launching of his brand. With all proceeds going to the Devesh Samtani Foundation, this non-profit is already helping children from low-income families receive quality educations. Fashion meets charity and this month, in honor of what would have been Devesh's 19th birthday, the foundation launched their first initiative - Devu's Mathlete - a program to aid development in potential young math stars. In    a time where there is so much turmoil in the world, this foundation helps spread love, joy and kindness, just the way Devesh did.

WMW Loungewear x No Kid Hungry

“NO ONE IS BORN HATING ANY PERSON BECAUSE OF THE COLOUR OF HIS SKIN, OR HIS BACKGROUND, OR HIS RELIGION. PEOPLE LEARN TO HATE, AND IF THEY CAN LEARN TO HATE, THEY CAN BE TAUGHT TO LOVE, FOR LOVE COMES MORE NATURALLY TO THE HUMAN HEART THAN THE OPPOSITE.”
-Nelson Mandela
.
.
Everything in this photo represents a change I wish to see in the world and will do my part to work to achieve:
WMW Loungewear by Liana Zavo Socks Support Women Entrepreneurs (use code BELLES20 for 20% off and to support a charity! A portion of sales will go to No Kid Hungry and help girls in orphanages become fierce women, our future leaders and to champion their voices!)
Reprise Activewear Supports Sustainable Fashion and the war on Climate Change
Gucci Glasses Are Multi-Purpose and Support No-Waste, Sustainable Fashion along with the Louis Vuitton Sneakers- which both support the War on Fast Fashion, not to mention the Great Black Designer, Virgil Abloh.
And this QUOTE just says it ALL on the war on Racism. No matter your color, sex, sexual orientation, religion, no matter WHAT, I was not born hating you and I am learning, listening and vow to CHOOSE LOVE. I do LOVE YOU.

Pharaoun Cocktail Rings

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Pharaoun plays their part in the call to end the disease. With 100% (yes one-hundred percent!) of the purchase price of Pharaoun's Anaïs Cocktail Ring donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, you are not only adding beauty to your own life, but you are helping to save the lives of others. The pink ring, which was named after the designer's daughter, is seriously stunning to the eye. After losing his own wife to cancer, the designer has made a clear message in  both his charitable efforts and designs. "Strength." While there are many beautiful ways to desirable his collection, "Strength" is certainly the underlying theme. Sergio Andrés Mendoza doesn't just design for women, he clearly understands women and sincerely values them. He is able to translate such value into his work. Bold designs are reminiscent of the power that each piece's wearer holds. Not for the faint hearted, each ring is an emblem of independence and the courage of the female being. A Pharaoun cocktail ring is something to cherish and will immediately make one stand out.
