With the stylish socialite Olivia Palermo as their newest ambassador, Pikolinos entered the New York City scene with a BANG. In an event to open their boutique in the trendy Meatpacking District, the brand focused on promoting their charitable efforts with the Maasai Project, where they are dedicated to aiding in the development of the Massai community. Khirma Eliazov Boutique Opening Event

While former fashion editor Khirma Eliazov launched her luxury handbag and accessories brand in 2009, she finally opened her first namesake boutique in NYC. Located in the heart of the West Village, at 102 Charles Street, we attended her opening event, where we treated to a special preview of Ms. Eliazov's latest collection. Internationally known, and popular in celebrity circles, Khirma Eliazov's designs are chic, sophisticated, and made of the most luxurious, exotic, stand-out materials.

Julie Haus Boutique Opening

After a wildly successful stint as a pop-up store, Julie Haus is FINALLY officially open for permanent business. Its beautiful gallery-style SoHo boutique houses Haus' super chic clothes in a super chic setting. Known best for tailored fits, custom prints, and fine details, Julie Haus' fall/winter 2010 collection, which currently occupies the space, is inspired by the dark color palette, the textures of the puppets, and the infusion of technology from the London play, War Horse. With changing interior decor (set to coordinate with the vision and feel of each collection), a new diffusion line named J/J, and collaborations with local designers, Julie Haus has created a recipe for complete success.

Lali Lali Grand Opening Event

Last night's grand opening event for Soho's newest, and by farrrrrrr hottest salon, Lali Lali, was an absolute blast! I hadn't seen the space since it was under construction when we conducted our photo shoot there back in December, but WOW, WOW, WOW did it turn out aaaamazzzzingggggg! Lali Lali entertained us with a fashion show that was broadcasted live on NYCLiveRock.com, and for good reason. Partnered up with LF boutiques, the runway show, which featured their to-die-for spring/summer 2010 collection, was true to LF's brand: young, ahead of the curve trend-wise, and superrrrrrr fun! We were served deliciously decadent hor d'oeuvres, classic red and white wines, and were even treated to massages! Bravo, Lali Lali, bravo for an out-of-this-world party! And honestly, I cannot think of a more sick or tottttttallly chic place to go for hair and make-up styling. Not only does the salon boast that it will be the home to some world renowned hair stylist, but overall, let's be serious (you'll see from the pictures below), this place is clearly the epitome of what you'd expect from a real salon in NYC. It's beyond compare.

And here's a peek at what was happening backstage before the show:
