Orly Shani, Fashion Star

Photography by Ryan Connolly

Fans since day one (see proof here and here), casual, conceptual brand, tuc+wes, is finally set to drop its second collection. Based on designer Orly Shani's own personal style, every piece promises comfort and total cool-girl-chic. As a functional, creative, lifestyle brand, tuc+wes displays a certain effortlessness, while staying completely sexy. So stylish, that even television networks took notice. Ms. Shani was one of only fourteen chosen to compete on NBC's hot, new, highly anticipated, much buzzed about fashion design series, "Fashion Star." Premiering this coming Tuesday, March 13, the winner will design capsule collections for Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's, and H&M. Just throw Elle Macphereson, Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie, and John Varvatos into the mix...this show is destined to be a hit.
