Plastic Island Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

Some things just cannot wait. This is one of them.

I hadn't planned on blogging today as I'm heading up to Boston in just a few hours, but when Lindsey, my stylist friend from Saucy Glossie, sent me over this up-and-coming brand last night, I was itching to post about it!

Plastic Island is officially my new go-to brand. It is the perfect mix of cutting edge and casual chic. Totally wearable, yet still embodies a feeling of complete luxury. An undeniable lifestyle brand, PI's European flare, with lots of day-to-night separates to mix and match, is the perfect line for the fun and super stylish girl-about-town! It's no wonder that in it's four short years of existence, Plastic Island has quickly gained a celebrity following of A-listers such as Anne Hathaway, Kate Perry, Vanessa Hudgens, and Lauren Conrad.

Their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection was recently released to an exclusive group of boutiques and retailers (click here to find a retailer near you). I know that I can't wait another second to get my hands on all of it! In fact...I'm so impatient that I've already looked up the spots where it's sold in Boston so that I can hopefully grab some pieces this weekend!

Coachella Cool

If you're out on the west coast and lucky enough to be headed to Coachella this weekend, you have LF boutiques to thank for the ultimate guide to packing for the festival! I, on the other hand, will be packing for a (colder weather) weekend up in Boston to root on my runners on Marathon Monday!

Cynthia Vincent Fall 2010

Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent's Fall 2010 Collection doesn't start hitting the stores until late August, but hey, it is never too early to get a first look, right!? I've always been a fan of Cynthia Vincent, and a visit to her NYC showroom with a sneak peek at her Fall/Winter line just further confirms how fantastic she is as a designer! I've already basically put together the look I will be going for come autumn! I was especially loving the all of the velvet! Tons of velvet dresses, velvet with fringe, and embellished velvet (ohhhh...ahhhh)...Gahhhh, gorgeous! Plus all of her accessories were friggin' banging. Covered studs and covered chains prove that my favorite rock star/biker chic style will prevail again this coming fall! Definitely not going to wish away the warm months that are directly ahead of us, but I'm always down to plan ahead when it comes to my wardrobe. So thank you Cynthia Vincent, you have just made (my) planning ahead super, super easy.
