Kimoa Launch 2017

Launched just in time for summer, Kimoa is a sporty brand created by a true sportsman. Formula 1 Race Car Driver, Fernando Alonso, debuted as an athlete at the Indianapolis 500 -- where he took home the Rookie of the Year award -- and then debuted his new brand and inaugural collection just two days later at the cool, downtown S'Zen Lounge at Hotel on  Rivington in NYC. While the brand is based in Madrid, Spain, the collection is inspired by the beach culture of Southern California and features cool swim, surf and skate wear for both males and females. Comprised of soft and wearable apparel as well as functional accessories, Kimoa juxtaposes the relaxed SoCal life with Alonso's life in the fast lane.

Resident Magazine Cover Party

Cocktails, candy and cocktails filled with candy (i.e. the deliciousness that was "The Boozy Berry"--Bulldog Gin topped with gummy bears!) were abundant at the Resident Magazine Cover Party last week. Hosted by their latest cover girl, Dylan Lauren, Resident Magazine celebrated the cover and its star in proper fashion, on Dylan's home turf at her newly opened Union Square location of Dylan's Candy Bar.

Available later this month with their debut collection, She+Lo celebrated their brand's launching with candy, cocktails and a fantastic view from The Jimmy lounge atop the luxurious James Hotel here in NYC. Besides combining their names, designers Shelia Nazarian and Lauren Darrah combine California casual with NYC's edge to create a stellar line of accessible, well-crafted handbags. A preview of their inaugural Fall 2014 and Holiday collections proves that She+Lo has, from the get-go, established themselves as a destination for cool, trendy bags.

It's My Team: Marchesa x NFL

A recent event at the NFL Headquarters celebrated and unveiled a new collection and collaboration between the NFL and upscale fashion brand, Marchesa. Hosted by the National Football League and Vogue Magazine, the night toasted to the It's My Team Women's Apparel Campaign as well as allowed guest to bid on one-of-a-kind Vogue experiences, with the proceeds donated to benefit the American Cancer Institute.
