With summer just around the bend, we aren't exactly thinking about winter dressing at the moment...However, the Dawn Levy Fall 2012 Collection is definitely one to keep stored in the back of your mind. With Levy's second collection, she brings an Apen-Chic style that she is quickly becoming known for.  With a focus on fit, making silhouette her main priority, and a foundation in luxurious furs and the finest fabrics, this high-end outerwear brand has already been picked up by all of the major department stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstroms, Bloomingdales, and Neiman Marcus.

Allegri Fall 2012

In their third year of collaborating with the High School of Fashion Industries, Allegri gave a presentation and a behind-the-scenes look at the process and inspirations for their upcoming limited-edition capsule collection.  Designed by the students themselves, and judged by a panel that included the CEO of Allegri, as well as fashion model Michelle Alves, and the Menswear Director of Saks Fifth Avenue, Eric Jennings, the collection will be available for purchase in Fall 2013. Allegri also introduced their upcoming Fall 2012 Collection, which included an sneak peek at a new technology - a treatment which makes cashmere waterproof - as well as a range of feathery "puffer" jackets and vests.

Mike&Chris Fall 2010 Collection

While at the Cynthia Vincent Showroom last month, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that not only was the designer line Mike&Chris going to release a Fall 2010 collection after taking a short hiatus, but they also shared the same showroom as CV. This made it superrrrrr easy for me to get a first glimpse of their comeback collection!!!!

The collection is allllll about comfort. Mike&Chris is another casual-but-so-chic line that can certainly be tagged as a lifestyle brand! By mixing medias, such as high quality leather combined with more simple cottons and sweats(!!!-my style to a T), they have given us some pretty rad pieces! I've always been a fan of their leather jackets, and this fall's collection did not disappoint. I was totally digging one of their grey biker jackets. The color was peerrrrrr-fec-tttttion, completely unique, and the leather...softer than soft. (See pictures below. A very similar jacket will also be available for purchase in an equally as soft cotton/sweatpants material.) But...I KNOWWWWW...that I MUST, MUST, MUST have one of the combo jackets. Leather plus sweats...and all in one!? Totallllllly my thing. No question about it!

And wait, did I mention how much I loveeee hoods?! Lots of hooded pieces coming our way this fall!
