The Bikes of Wrath

Having just celebrated the 4th of July, which is a holiday rooted in American history, it proves perfect timing in  regards to reviewing the documentary The Bikes of Wrath.  The film, which follows the path of the classic Steinbeck novel "The Grapes of Wrath,"celebrates the 80th anniversary of the book, while simultaneously explores the history of the Dust Bowl. An adventure which follows (ironically) a group of Australians on a quest to explore the same migration route that left a mark in    American history. Interesting and revealing of true humility and humanity, the film is both educational and feel-good. It is a testament to spirit and camaraderie of mankind.

ECHOS Reverb Brand Experience

When a brand is meant to be used to experience the great outdoors, it's only natural that it be introduced to the world in the most experimental way. ECHOS PR & Brand Communications nailed it when it came to presenting the brands that they represent. Even in  the city, the company was able to create an atmosphere that married the wondrous outdoor spirit with their wonderful brand roster. Whether it is  hiking, biking, walking, running, or just trying to garner "the look," ECHOS has you covered both fashionably and functionally. With an extremely impressive portfolio, ECHOS shared many of the most noteworthy outdoor brands in  the business, the preview included everything from food and beverage labels to functional clothing pieces to equipment and sporting goods.

Big Thanks to Derrick and Rob over at ECHOS PR & Brand Communications  for inviting us to this special experience and for making this feature possible!

Destination Unknown

Having taken part in JCC Krakaw's Inaugural Ride for the Living, our interest in Auchwitz and the Holocaust has skyrocketed. While it can at times be difficult to watch and listen to the stories from war, it is empowering and important to share the stories of survival.  A new film, Destination Unknown, hits home and is incredibly moving. The documentary (which we were lucky enough to attend a special private screen of) was released theatrically this month and is a compilation of valuable and powerful testimonies that keep history alive. A must-see piece no matter your ethnicity, religion or race. A true display of hope, humanity and the importance of the past as we look to the future.
