Banksy Museum NYC

After successful stints across the globe, The Banksy Museum has finally arrived in NYC. The prolific exhibition recreates the revolutionary art of the world's most famous-yet-ananomous street artist. The immersive experience guides visitors through an exhibit of Banky's well known murals, many of which have now been dismantled and/or whitewashed. Features also include the artist's lesser known, but equally as poignant, studio work, plus animated visuals and videos. Now open to the public, The Banksy Museum is the largest Banksy exhibition in  the world.

Kusama: Cosmic Nature

Autumn is hands down the best time of year in  New York City. The weather is lovely and the outdoor activities are in full effect. Running at the New York Botanical Garden through October 31, Kusama: Cosmic Nature is a must-see outdoor installation. One of the most famous living artists of our time, Japanese contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama delivers an impressive, immersive exhibition at the Bronx garden. As an artist who is admittedly fascinated with nature, there is truly no better collaboration that with NYBG. Organic and with a sense of zen, wonder will be experienced while wandering the landscape. Beauty and fantasy collide in  an unforgettable experience driven exhibition.

The Subway Girl

Quarantine blues? Rain or shine, we are stuck inside, but this proves to be the most perfect time to sit back, relax and read. Thankfully, Lisa Becker has pre-released her latest book. Set to be released to the general public on July 14, Becker invites you to read her latest piece of fiction before it's "official" drop. Perfect timing for the times we are in! The Subway Girl is an easy, fun read, perfect for any day you're stuck indoors. Becker, a long time favorite writer, once again creates an adorable love novel that will even have you wishing you could jump on good old public transportation again. A "Missed Connection" story where lives intersect and paths cross, much like the maps of the New York subways, this book will have you relating to its cast of characters while also fantasizing about the romance to be found whether you're traveling uptown or down.

The Statues of Central Park

As a native New Yorker, there is nothing better than a stroll through the iconic Central Park. Known around the world, Central Park is home to seemingly an uncountable amount of sculptures. Catarina Astrom outlines the beautiful sculptures that call Central Park home in a gorgeous hardcover book entitled The Statues of Central Park. Photographed throughout the year, no matter the climate, each unique photo displays each statue's ability to become one with the landscape around it.
